The computer belongs to a friend who is not in a position to buy something else, so its either this or end up with nothing. I tried re-downloading the driver from the Adobe website (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=44&platform=Windows) and same results. After the files were copied from the CD, XP rebooted my system. Ask !
